If there’s a mistake people often make, it’s asking someone to change for you or changing yourself for someone else. Change is possible, yes. But change will not be permanent if not done with the right intentions. Change to please another person is only temporary. After awhile they or you will get tired of being someone you aren’t and just be yourself again.
Therefore, change for nobody but yourself. If you want to change only then will it be worthwhile. You might want to change a bad habit because you want to make some self-improvements. This is the kind of change that will stay with you because at the end of the day you will still be yourself…but a little kinder, or happier, or neater.
